API ACQUIRES TEMPEST PRODUCTS BUSINESS FROM BAE SYSTEMS

Advanced Programs Inc. has announced that it has acquired BAE Systems’ TEMPEST products business for an undisclosed sum.

The TEMPEST products business develops and produces custom engineered computers, workstations and peripherals that meet the National Security Agency’s TEMPEST standard for limiting electromagnetic emissions from electronic equipment to safeguard data. It has approximately 40 employees at its design, engineering and manufacturing operation in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
