API Europe Limited is a division of Advanced Programs Inc., which
was founded in the USA in 1969 as MESA Technology Corporation to market signal processing
products into the local DoD community. Advanced Programs, Inc. has been a supplier to the
US intelligence Community and select NATO governments for over 25 years. API, based in
Columbia, Maryland is an NSA endorsed Tempest production facility staffed by NSA trained
and regulated TEMPEST engineers. US website is

and based in the UK. It was established to develop new products and provide support to the
European Reseller Network throughout NATO Europe. API Europe offers improved capabilities
providing a European production and repair facility for Tempest product, enhancing and
complementing the range of Tempest equipment designed and manufactured in the USA.

TEMPEST COMPUTER HARDWARE
API is the world leader in the design and manufacturing of TEMPEST
computer security hardware. API seeks to fill an open position for a
business development manager. Responsibilities will include developing
and managing a distribution network, identifying market requirements and
developing strategies for new business. Regular customer visits and
travel throughout Europe will be essential. The ideal candidate will be
able to demonstrate a successful international sales background and have
experience working with military, intelligence or foreign affairs
organizations of NATO member countries. The candidate will be
technically competent in the understanding of computing hardware,
networks and peripherals. Experience working with a product reseller
network will be an added bonus. Activities will be coordinated with API

New API acquisition
In December
2007 API announced that it had acquired BAE Systems’ TEMPEST products
business.
The TEMPEST
products business develops and produces custom engineered computers,
workstations and peripherals that meet the National Security Agency’s
TEMPEST standard for limiting electromagnetic emissions from electronic
equipment to safeguard data. It has approximately 40 employees at its
design, engineering and manufacturing operation in Tewksbury,
Massachusetts.
